Hungarian Ties In The Spotlight

BMI View: Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcscany's current preoccupation with his own domestic political travails will take some of the pressure off official Slovak-Hungarian relations in the short term. Nevertheless, with the continued presence of the Slovak National Party (SNS) in government in Bratislava, the international spotlight is likely to remain on the sensitive issue of Slovakia's dealings with its large ethnic Hungarian population.
