GERB Faces Increasing Discontent

Bulgaria's ruling minority GERB party will face increasing tests to its power moving into 2011, as public discontent with the pace and scope of reforms undertaken so far is rising. While we see no short-term threats to the EU nation's political stability, we expect tensions to remain elevated and do not rule out retraction of key fiscal policy reforms.
