Relations With Russia To Remain Strained
August 2010 | Political Risk AnalysisMoscow's August 16 decision to expel Gabriel Grecu, a Romanian diplomat, from Russia is likely to heighten pre-existing bilateral tensions over the medium term. Grecu was expelled following his detention by Russia's Federal Security Bureau after 'an [alleged] attempt to receive secret information of a military nature from a Russian citizen'.
