Energy Export Route Diversification To Continue

The construction of a new gas pipeline to potentially service Western European markets in Turkmenistan supports our view that the country's export diversification destination strategy will continue to pick up pace going forward. Moreover, we expect President Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov to continue to seek a broader rebalancing of the state's foreign policy agenda towards the West.
