Energy Sector To Support Strong Growth

We hold to our forecast for the Uzbek economy to post strong growth of 8.0% in 2010. While state-led investment within the construction and industrial sectors helped to avoid a sharp slowdown in 2009, we believe that the expansion of the country's energy sector will help to support robust average growth of 7.7% over the next five years.
