Macroeconomic Forecast Belarus

According to the National Statistical Committee Of The Republic Of Belarus, investment spending rose by 7.1% in April, only slightly down on the 7.5% increase in March. With industrial production continuing to grow (by 6.4% in April) and capacity utilisation increasing on the back of the uptick in economic activity, we expect capital investment to continue picking up going forward. This will be further supported by increased foreign investment over the medium term.
