Consumption To Drive Recovery

We hold to our core view that the Armenian economy is on track to grow 4.0% this year, driven mainly by private consumption on the back of increased remittance inflows and the ability of the banking sector to extend credit to firms and households. Over the medium term, although we do not expect the economy to return to its pre-crisis growth levels, we forecast still robust trend growth of 5.5%.
