External Debt To Expand Further

The continued increase in Macedonian external debt in Q409 supports our view that the debt load will continue to expand over the medium-term on the back of infrastructure modernisation, industrial growth and an increase in consumer demand. We forecast gross external debt to reach 73% of GDP in 2010, growing further to 75% in the following year.
