Headline Growth To Skyrocket

Headline Turkish real GDP growth is set to skyrocket in 2010, with first quarter growth estimated to come in at a 15-year high of 13.1% y-o-y. While very low base effects (from the -14.5% y-o-y contraction in Q109) will certainly augment the growth figure, we stress that a robust fundamental improvement in demand forms the core of our economic outlook.
