Balancing Act

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev invited Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovich to visit Moscow on February 15 in a bid to renew ties with Kiev. In his letter of invitation, Medvedev noted that Yanukovich's election reflects Ukrainians' desire to put end previous failed attempts to resolve years of acrimony between the two nations under the outgoing president.
