Economy To Outperform Eurozone Through 2014

We hold to our core view that Slovakia is likely to outperform the eurozone over the medium term as a result of continued trade integration and its appeal to foreign investors following the adoption of the euro. However, as we continue to caution that consumer spending is likely to drag somewhat on the headline figure going forward, we hold to our forecast for 2009 to post a 4.9% contraction, and for growth to return to 1.5% in 2010.
