Massive Deficit To Remain In 2010

We hold to our view that the Slovak government will post a budget deficit of 7.5% in 2009. Additionally, with parliamentary elections set for 2010, and the unemployment rate continuing to rise, we expect the fiscal position to remain weak over the medium term, with the government not expected to post a deficit under 3.0% until 2013.
