Current Account Adjustment Well Under Way

Macedonia's current account deficit continued to deflate through the year to August, helping to diffuse pressures on external financing. We expect this adjustment to continue over the medium term, though caution that a potential collapse in foreign investor risk appetite could accelerate this process.
