Ties With India To Develop

Mongolia and India issued a joint declaration on a comprehensive partnership on September 14, during a visit to New Delhi by the Mongolian President Tsakhianiin Elbegdorj. The declaration includes agreements on a number of important points regarding bilateral relations between the two, including cooperation on defence and anti-terrorism, Indian investment in the Mongolian mining sector, Indian assistance in high yield crop farming, and a US$25mn loan from New Delhi to assist the Mongolian economy.
