Budget Wrangling Likely

The Czech Republic's interim government released its proposed 2010 state budget on September 21. The plan includes simultaneous tax increases and spending cuts, which the government estimates will save a total of CZK75.7bn next year, bringing the state budget deficit down to an estimated 4.1% of GDP.
