The similarity in the polling data between the two main parties ahead of the presidential election (due to be held in either November or December of this year) indicates that the election will be closely fought between the two. We caution that this could exacerbate tensions between the partners in the 'grand coalition', potentially leading to delays in policymaking and implementation.
