Balance Of Payments: Structural Change Underway

Following the emergence of a current account surplus during January-May, we now expect Poland's current account to come close to balance in 2009. However, we believe that demand for capital goods for industrial expansion and development of Poland's infrastructure will see the current account return to deficit from 2010, and remain in the red through to 2013
