Capacity Constraints Hinder Nabucco Prospects

Despite efforts by EU leaders to push forward with the planned Nabucco gas pipeline, we caution that the ability of Turkmenistan to supply the network remains in doubt. Indeed, aside from questions over the political feasibility of collaborating with a European-led pipeline meant to reduce reliance on Russian exports, there remain concerns over the level and sustainability of Turkmen gas reserves
