Lacking Support

According to the latest opinion poll by the Razumkov Centre, Viktor Yanukovych of the opposition Party of Regions remains the most popular candidate ahead of presidential elections likely to take place in January 2010. Yanukovych maintains the support of 19.5% of the Ukrainian electorate, compared to current Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who has the backing of 17.9% of voters.
