PM Bedridden

Mongolian Prime Minister Sanj Bayar suffered a severe injury on February 3 after he fell off a horse near Ulan Bator. According to the Mongolian state news agency Montsame , Bayar cracked the vertebra of a rib, potentially leaving him bedridden for between six weeks to three months. The timing of the accident is particularly unfortunate, as the Mongolian government is currently in the process of negotiating several landmark mining projects.
