Visa Waiver

The United States government has added Estonia, along with five other central and eastern European EU countries to its visa waiver programme. Under the measures, Estonian citizens will no longer require a visa to enter the United States for stays of up to three months, provided that they are in possession of a biometric passport. The move will likely strengthen Estonia's transatlantic ties further and enhance the country's foreign policy position within NATO.
