FDI Starting To Dwindle?

In a bid to highlight alleged discrimination, 100 gay activists marched in Bulgaria's capital, Sofia, on June 28. The march was met by angry protests from religious and far-right groups, with one protestor throwing a petrol bomb and around 60 being arrested. Amnesty International, the human rights group, had previously stated on June 27 that the authorities should step up security and ensure the safety of the marchers. Though the authorities report that none of the marchers were harmed, the incident nonetheless highlights the difficulty that Bulgaria will face in implementing the EU's social policy
