June 2008 | Political Risk AnalysisWe believe that Bosnia's signing of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union (EU) on June 16 marks a positive step for the country's future political and economic development. Nevertheless, membership of the organisation remains a long way off, as we expect ethnic tensions will remain a key obstacle to the passage of EU reforms and institutional development.
