Cabinet Reshuffling

Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany reshuffled his cabinet and created several new ministerial posts on April 28, after the smaller liberal party Alliance of Free Democrats (AFD) voted to quit the ruling coalition. Gyurczsany appointed Gordon Bajnai, as the new Minister of Economy, previously he had been in charge of EU funds and regional development. In addition, Tamas Szekely, who was head of the National Insurance Funds, has been appointed Health Minister.
