Ukraine's supreme court approved September's early parliamentary election results on October 25, in which Yulia Tymoshenko's bloc (BYuT) and President Viktor Yushchenko's Our Ukraine party secured a small parliamentary majority. The court's decision to reject appeals from parties which failed to pass the 3% threshold to enter parliament and the Communist Party, enables the Central Election Commission to publish official election results in the coming weeks, a prerequisite to any formal coalition formation in parliament.
