Macroeconomic Forecast Croatia

March 2007 | Macroeconomic Forecasts

BMI View: Third quarter 2006 real GDP growth in Croatia was 4.7% y-o-y. We forecast a slight moderation in the final months of the year, to bring 2006's expansion rate to 4.6%. This should be more or less matched in 2007, although structural reform is needed to take Croatia's growth rates up a gear into the 6% range, and for the economy to catch up with its transition peers.
