Macroeconomic Forecast Bosnia and Herzegovina
September 2006 | Macroeconomic ForecastsIndustrial production growth numbers in both the Federation and the Republika Srpska (RS) continue to come in strongly. The sectors expanded by 7.1% y-o-y and 8.2% y-o-y respectively over the first seven months of the year, and our 2006 forecasts remain at 9.0% and 13.0%. This will support the ongoing rapid expansion in the Bosnian economy, which should grow by at least 6.0% through to 2010. A corollary of this will be real GDP per capita slowly converging towards the levels currently seen in the second wave accession countries.
