BMI View: Georgia's pro-Western government must continue to implement the reforms necessary for closer integration with NATO and the EU, even though membership of these institutions remains a distant, and even implausible, prospect. In the meantime, however, improving relations with Russia, no matter how difficult, is a priority for the economy.
