A year since reformist forces came to power, Ukraine is once again in full election mode, this time to choose a new parliament whose constitutional authority will be boosted at the expense of the president. Both President Yushchenko's Our Ukraine and former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko's party have been hit by their leaders' falling out, receiving under 15% each in one recent opinion poll.
