Foreign Direct Investment On The Increase

Entry to the EU has supported a resurgence in flows of FDI to Lithuania during the first quarter of 2004. BMI View: Sustaining strong FDI flows must remain a key policy goal for the Lithuanian authorities. With strong competition from other states in the region, improvements to the business environment will be needed to ensure that Lithuania remains a desirable venue for investment.
