Which Way Out Of The Deadlock?
July 2006 | Political Risk AnalysisBMI View: The interregnum in Czech politics continues. With the right and left deadlocked at 100 seats each, any administration formed would need the opposing parties to come to a compromise agreement. Given the divergences in their political programmes and the tensions which are building up, we would not see a joint administration as stable. The chances of a technocratic government or fresh elections eventually coming to pass are growing.
