September 2005 | Risk SummaryWith all indicators of public support indicating a victory for a centre-right coalition of the Civic Platform (PO) and Law and Justice Party (PiS) in September's parliamentary elections, there is concern over a potential eurosceptic bias to the policy agenda of the PiS. However, with PiS deputies unlikely to have ministerial responsibility for the major economic portfolios (with the possible exception of the treasury), we do not expect this situation to culminate in an appreciable cooling of relations with the EU or a slowdown in eurozone
