October 2012 |BMI View: Recently released figures support our view that Albanian foreign reserves would increase over 2012. From March until July, Albanian foreign reserves increased from EUR2.33bn to EUR2.43bn, in line with a moderate improvement in the country's external accounts. While we don't expect a long term narrowing of Albania's current account, we still think reserves will increase to EUR3.21bn in 2012 and EUR3.58bn in 2013.
