July 2012 | Ratings UpdatePoland's agricultural minister, Marek Sawicki, resigned on July 18 following the media releasing a film showing Wadyslaw Lukasik, the ex-head of the Agricultural Market Agency, discussing irregularities in the agency. The resignation of Sawicki, a leading member of the junior coalition partner Peasants Party who has led the ministry for more than four years, will undermine Donald Tusk's administration. We expect the current Civic Platform-led coalition to serve out its term despite its small majority and falling popularity.
