LithuaniaApril 2012 | Risk Summary

A recent poll by Vilmorus shows that support for the ruling Homeland Union party of Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius continued to slip in April, falling to just 8.2% from 9.0% at the start of the year. The dominant opposition Social Democratic Party has been replaced as the main opposition party by the Labour Party which polled at 17.8% in April, according to the pollster, a huge increase on the 11.1% recorded as recently as February.
