The Czech Communist Union of Youth, Komsomol, have been condemned by parliamentary parties for their campaign against former President Vaclav Havel, which took place on the first of three days of mourning for the deceased former communist dissident, president and playwright. Komsomol distributed anti-Havel propaganda along the path of his ceremonial funeral procession to Prague castle. The relatively small amount of campaigners speaks to how marginalised and out of touch with Czech politics the communist party has become.
