Former president Valdis Zatlers, leader of the centre-right coalition party Zatlers' Reform Party (ZRP), has reportedly been caught on tape predicting the fall of the government for early 2012. The tape allegedly has Zatlers' attributing the collapse of the government to the upcoming presidential election in Russia that the ZRP leader fears will rile up nationalist sentiment among the ethnic Russian population.
