A new political party was formed in Hungary in late October called the Democratic Coalition, which will be led by former Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany. The party forms a breakaway from the Hungarian Socialist Party (MSZP). While Fidesz has been losing support in recent months, it remains the most popular party in Hungary.
