The education ministers of the Visegrad Four (V4) group the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia have agreed to form a specialist group aimed at reforming university education in the region. Ministers agreed that a key problem facing the countries' education systems was the lack of qualified administrators. The aim of the group will be to introduce a university law in hopes of improving the quality of higher education in the region. We have previously highlighted the increasing regionalisation of Central Europe in light of the ongoing eurozone debt crisis and the growing crisis of confidence in international institutions.
