EU Demands Could Force Kiev's Hand

Increasingly prominent suggestions by European Union policymakers that Ukraine's progress towards securing greater integration with the EU could be derailed by the continued trial of former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko lead us to believe that the issue could be coming to a head. Moreover, we highlight that an evolution or revolution in Kiev's relationship to Brussels will have knock-on effects with regards to Ukraine's position with Russia.
