September 2011 | Risk SummaryIn a poll held on September 15 to 18 by TNS OBOP, support for Civic Platform (PO), Poland's ruling party, dropped to 33%, down from 35% at the beginning of the month. At the same time, support for Law and Justice, the largest opposition party, increased by 4% to 26%. Victory of PO seems however undoubted. The Polish Peasant Party seems now set to be confirmed as junior partner of the future governing coalition with PO, as polls expect it to garn 6% of popular support, above the 5% threshold required to enter parliament.
