Power Structure Unlikely To Shift
March 2011 | Political Risk AnalysisRussia's political leadership will likely feel unsettled by a recent dip in opinion polls and the growing perception among voters that the country is moving in the wrong direction so close to key elections. While we do not envision any major changes to the existing political structure of Russia, we cannot rule out a growing rift between President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, especially relating to opposing views on foreign policy.
